Originally from Charleston, SC, Dr. Jason Epstein attended the University of Georgia for both his undergraduate and veterinary studies. He has since practiced in Colorado and Tennessee developing a passion for dentistry, palliative medicine, strengthening the doctor-client-patient bond. In his time in practice, he has seen the need for veterinary medical facilities that care as much about the wellness of their employees and clients as the 4 legged patients they serve. Dr. Epstein is dedicated to ensuring that our medical teams are all focused on the right thing, never losing sight of why as veterinarians we are here, to take care of people by caring for their pets.
Dr. Rebekah Zahedi was born and raised in Georgia and attended undergraduate and veterinary school at the University of Georgia. Upon graduation, she conducted biomedical research at UC Berkeley before transitioning into small animal clinical practice in Napa, California where she quickly realized her love of managing challenging cases and forming meaningful relationships with clients. After witnessing the compassion fatigue and burnout that affect so many in the industry, Dr. Zahedi found an additional passion in caring for veterinary professionals. She highly values engaging in open dialogue about the unique challenges of vet med and techniques to improve professional and personal wellbeing. Dr. Zahedi joined the MPW Talent Acquisition team in early 2021 and continues to be passionate about identifying and nurturing outstanding talent, helping veterinary professionals find work-life harmony, and identifying ways to better engage with and support the veterinary community.
