Dr. Mackenzie Haines is a graduate from Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine and moved to the downtown Nashville area in April 2020. Her special interests in veterinary medicine include dermatology, preventative medicine, and fear-free handling to keep each patient's stress/anxiety at a minimum during their visits.
She is newly engaged to her partner Kody, with which she shares three fur "children"-- Harlowe, a spicy Tortoiseshell kitty, Winnie, a goofy but loving mixed breed dog, and Bastion, a (surprisingly) laid-back Siberian Husky. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Haines loves reading, spending time with friends, and exploring new restaurants/attractions with Kody. While she would not describe herself as a sports guru by any means, she also loves cheering on Auburn during football season. War eagle!
