Dr. Katherine Baine is a 2010 North Carolina State CVM grad and subsequently completed a small animal rotating internship at Blue Pearl in Tampa followed by an avian and exotic residency at UT. If you told her when she started her residency that she would stay in Knoxville, she would have called you crazy, but here she is! She has transitioned from exotics only specialty practice, to mixed exotic/small animal practice over the last 8 years in Knoxville. In addition, she is also one of the vets for Ripley's aquarium. Historically she has worked with the weird creatures at the zoo, American Eagle Foundation and have enjoyed teaching at LMU and Chattanooga State. In the transition to My Pets Wellness, she enjoys spending more time focusing on dogs and cats and continuing to provide care for birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish.
